Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU)

BGU is located in Be’er Sheva, the capital of theNegevregioninsouthernIsrael. Duetoits location, the university conducts significant desert-related research at the Jacob Blaustein Institute for Desert Research. 

In addition, BGU was the main force behind the creation of the Advanced Technologies Park adjacent to the university.
